5. Woe to Those Who Crucify God Once Again

During the last days, God has been incarnated in China to work, and has expressed millions of words, conquering and saving a group of people with His word and ushering in the new age of judgment beginning with the house of God. 

Today, the spreading of God’s work during the last days has reached its climax in Mainland China. Most of the people in Catholic communities and all Christian denominations who pursue the truth have returned before God’s throne. The incarnate God has accomplished the work of “the Son of man’s secret coming” prophesied in the Bible, and will soon appear publicly to every nation and place in the world. All people in every nation and place who thirst for God’s appearance will look upon God’s public appearance. No force can hinder or destroy God’s kingdom, and anyone who resists God will be punished by God’s wrath, just as it is said in God’s words: “My kingdom is coming into shape above the whole universe, and My throne holds sway in the hearts of hundreds of millions of people. With the angels’ assistance, My great accomplishment will soon be brought to fruition. All My sons and My people await My return with bated breath, longing for Me to reunite with them, never to be separated again. How could the multitudinous populace of My kingdom not race toward one another in joyful celebration because of My being together with them? Can this be a reunion for which no price need be paid? I am honorable in all men’s eyes, I am proclaimed in the words of all. When I return, I will conquer all enemy forces even more. The time has come! I will put My work in motion, I will reign as King among men! I am on the point of return! And I am about to depart! This is what everyone is hoping for, it is what they wish. I shall let the whole of humanity see the arrival of My day, and let them welcome the coming of My day with joy!” (“The Twenty-seventh Utterance” of God’s Utterances to the Entire Universe in The Word Appears in the Flesh). “All those that I love will surely live for eternity, and all those who stand against Me will surely be chastised by Me for eternity. For I am a jealous God, I will not lightly spare men for all that they have done. God’s extraordinary work has revealed all antichrists, false prophets, and deceivers. It has exposed false believers who only seek God’s grace and to eat the loaves and have their fill. God’s word of judgment is like a sharp, two-edged sword that pierces man’s heart and spirit, causing those who hate to be rebuked, who detest pure words, and who do not love the truth to show their true colors.

In the words God expresses during His secret coming to work, we behold the truth of mankind’s resistance to God and rebellion against God, which is mainly manifested in three aspects:

1. That mankind often sins and resists and rebels against God is entirely because, following people’s corruption by Satan, their nature has been possessed by the various venoms of Satan, and has become one that resists and rebels against God. Thus they sin every day, and often confess their sins, but they are still unable to break free from the bondage and enshacklement of their satanic nature. The nature of man that rebels against God is the root of his sin.

2. Mankind has been profoundly corrupted by Satan. People’s hearts have been filled with nothing but Satan’s philosophies, Satan’s rules of life, and Satan’s ways of thinking, rendering them incapable of understanding or knowing that God’s word is the truth. Without the enlightenment and illumination of the Holy Spirit, mankind is unable to accept the truth. Even though corrupt mankind believes in God, people only acknowledge that there is God; they do not acknowledge that God is the truth. As such, corrupt mankind often passes judgment on God, attacks God, resists God, and rebels against God.

3. Mankind has been too deeply corrupted by Satan. Even those who have believed in God for many years will never know God without His judgment and chastisement, or the work of salvation of the incarnate flesh. In their belief in God, they can only enjoy God’s grace and acknowledge that God truly exists. They cannot truly know God. They can only be filled with religious doctrines and notions, becoming ever more arrogant and self-righteous, and even daring to judge God, denounce God, and blaspheme God’s work. These things are nothing new, but happen frequently in the religious world, which calls for people’s profound reflection, and has completely fulfilled Jesus’ words: “Not every one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity” (Mat 7:21-23). We have all clearly seen that in the religious world, there are too many people who work in the Lord’s name but resist and condemn God’s work of the last days. All those who believe in God, but only acknowledge that there is God and do not know that God is the truth, are liable to resist God, attack God, and blaspheme against God. Having some knowledge of the Bible and religious doctrine, they believe that they are possessed of the truth and know God. They even dare to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit’s work and challenge the incarnate Christ. The only thing that awaits them is God’s righteous, majestic, and wrathful judgment and chastisement. On the day of God’s public arrival, all will be revealed!

From people preaching the gospel in various places, we have often heard that many of those who once resisted the work of Almighty God, or who interfered with and obstructed people’s acceptance of Almighty God, were punished and cursed to various degrees. It can be said that this, to some extent, has played a positive motivating role in our gospel work. Upon hearing such information, we could not help but praise God’s righteousness; more than that, we thanked God for hearing our prayers. In addition, reverence and admiration for God arose spontaneously in our hearts. God will not abandon the sheep that belong to Him, much less will He let off anyone who commits evil and resists Him. God is omnipresent and omnipotent, and God’s work cannot be hindered by any hostile power. God has shown us so many cases of the evil being punished. We believe that this is also a silent warning to each of us. Thus, we have compiled many instances of people being punished, the scope of which covers Catholic communities and various Christian denominations. The time period is only from 1993 to 2002, and the locations encompass 24 provinces and municipal cities. Altogether we have collected more than ten thousand cases of people being punished for resisting Almighty God, among which we have selected more than eight hundred and seventy that are typical. But these cases alone are sufficient for all people to learn lessons from (cf. Typical Cases of Punishment for Resisting Almighty God).

From these shocking cases of those who were punished for resisting God, we have identified four main types of people who were relatively vehement in their resistance to God:

The first: These people were deceived by others or were enslaved by wicked servants as a result of not knowing the work of the Holy Spirit and being unable to discern. Thus, they followed them in committing evil, and parroted the words of them, speaking many words in resistance to God and committing evil deeds to stop people from accepting God’s work. God only inflicted mild punishment upon these people, and did not terminate their lives. Some of them got strange diseases, and some had accidents or their family members suffered catastrophe. God gave this kind of people the chance to repent. Of course, there were also some especially obstinate ones who still did not wake up after being punished; they continued to do evil and thus were cut off.

The second: The majority of these people were the leaders of various denominations. They were faced with the choice between their position and God. For the sake of their position, they gave up the true way, deliberately resisted God’s work, and controlled the people in their hands. In order to forever enjoy the benefits brought by their position, they deceived and entrapped people. It seemed that they would lose their position if they lost their people, and they could not live without their position. Therefore, they did everything they could to compete with God for His chosen people, calling God’s sheep their sheep. They were typical antichrists. What they served was their position and livelihood. Their hearts became more and more hardened. They enjoyed God’s grace and yet they also wanted to control God’s chosen people, not even giving the freedom of choice which they were due. These were the very wicked servants prophesied by the Lord Jesus. God also punished these people to varying degrees according to their behavior, and also gave them the chance to repent. But some of them went even further, and preferred to die rather than repent. Thus God ended their lives. For those who reined themselves in or stopped committing evil after being punished, God spared their lives and is still waiting for them to repent.

The third: These people were formerly possessed by evil spirits, or else, in some cases, relied on evil spirits to exhibit supernatural powers. These people believed in the work of evil spirits within them, but had not the slightest knowledge of the work of the Holy Spirit. As a result, when God’s new work was preached to them, it aroused strong opposition in them. This kind of people were especially hostile to the work of the Holy Spirit, and they detested the truth expressed by God most of all. In all denominations, the voice of their resistance to God was the loudest, their actions were the most malicious, and their opposition to God was the most aggressive and fervent. These people were the tools of evil spirits, the enemies of God, and the accomplices of Satan, and so they all ended up being cursed, and were doomed to perdition and destruction.

The fourth: These people who were punished were the backbones trained by the Three-Self Church. They did service and gave their lives specially for the Communist Party and were in enmity to all those who truly believed in God. Supported by the power of the state, they persecuted those who truly followed God and testified to God, serving as the tools of the government. They held the “rice bowl” granted by the Communist Party, spoke and gave their lives for the Communist Party, and became the spokesmen of the Communist Party in the religious world. The Communist Party was, in fact, their master. These people held ruling positions of the churches in most places, and controlled many ignorant believers in their hands. These people were nothing but devils that resisted God. They were truly unbelievers in Christianity. Although they ran rampant for a time, they were doomed to be cursed and destroyed.

These famous figures in Catholic communities and various Christian denominations were all punished by God, and were even cursed and died, because they condemned God’s work and stopped God’s will from being carried out. Is this not worthy for people to deliberate? If the One they resisted were not God, who could punish them and take their lives? If they truly belonged to God, who would have the power to take their lives away from God’s hand? Do you not acknowledge that God is righteous?

From the cases of these four kinds of people and their actions, we can clearly see that, in their nature, they did not like the truth. They held a hostile attitude toward God’s work of saving and transforming man through judgment and chastisement, extremely detested God’s word that discloses man’s nature and pierces man’s soul, and even flew into a rage as if God’s coming had interrupted their pleasant dream. Thus their hearts of complaining against God and their nature of rebelling against God were completely exposed. They even condemned, blasphemed, and resisted God unscrupulously, full of overweening arrogance. They were much more evil than the Pharisees who persecuted the Lord Jesus two thousand years ago. Their evil deeds ultimately led to them being punished and cursed. Many of them realized that God’s disposition is truly not to be offended only when death came. But they could only weep and gnash their teeth in darkness. The facts have proved that those who crucify Christ once more will be doomed!

Almighty God said: “The kingdom is expanding in humanity’s midst, it is forming in humanity’s midst, it is standing up in humanity’s midst; there is no force that can destroy My kingdom. Of My people who are in the kingdom of today, which of you is not a human being among human beings? Which of you lies outside the human condition? When My new starting point is announced to the multitude, how will humanity react? You have seen with your own eyes the state of mankind; surely you do not still harbor hopes of enduring forever in this world? I am now walking abroad in the midst of My people, I live in the midst of My people. Today, those who bear genuine love toward Me, people like these are blessed; blessed are those who submit to Me, they will surely stay in My kingdom; blessed are those who know Me, they will surely wield power in My kingdom; blessed are those who seek after Me, they will surely escape from Satan’s bonds and enjoy blessing in Me; blessed are those who are able to forsake themselves, they will surely enter into My possession, and inherit My kingdom’s bounty. Those who run around for My sake I will commemorate, those who go to expense for My sake I will joyfully embrace, those who make offering to Me I will give enjoyments. Those who find enjoyment in My words I will bless; they will surely be the pillars that hold up the ridgepole in My kingdom, they will surely have matchless bounty in My house, and no one can compare with them. Have you ever accepted the blessings that you were given? Have you ever sought the promises that you were made? You will surely, under the guidance of My light, break through the stranglehold of the forces of darkness. You will surely not, in the midst of darkness, lose the light guiding you. You will surely be the master of all creation. You will surely be an overcomer before Satan. You will surely, at the downfall of the kingdom of the great red dragon, stand up amid the myriad throngs to bear witness to My victory. You will surely be resolute and unwavering in the land of Sinim.
